I'm a lover of all music. I mean that with every sense of the word ALL music. I love and appreciate every form. I saw an opera once and new I would hate it. I admit, I went into it with a bad attitude and while I was sitting there I realized, I could be miserable or I could find a way to enjoy this. So, I really tuned into the actions of the singers, the story line and well, I enjoyed it...every minute of it, except for the first 10 minutes, but that was my close-minded side, which creeps out in rare occasions.
Although, rock bleeds through my veins, this weekend I'm goin back to my roots with good 'ol country music. Tonight I'm going to see Jason Aldean in concert (fell in love with him, when he did Crossroads with Brian Adams) and then heading to my best friend Courtney's home town, good 'ol Muhlenburg County for a fish fry. Good times, good music, good friends and I guarantee good food...does it get any better?
I wish you all a fabulous weekend and I'm sure I'll have some good pictures and stories for you come Monday. For now, I leave you with a couple of quotes from The Queen of Country Music....Dolly Parton.
If you don't like the road you're walking, start paving another one.
It's a good thing I was born a girl, otherwise I'd be a drag queen.
The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put
up with the rain.
My personal favorite....
My weaknesses have always been food and men - in that order.
