Introduction

Hello there!! Welcome to my blog!! First let me tell you a little background on how I got here and what the blog is about. While laying on the couch watching television (nothing unusual for me) I started to think about the show I was watching and how it pertained to my life. I realized how often I do this, when I'm at a movie, reading a book or anything involving the arts...I start to lose focus and compare what is going on in front of me to my own life. I started to think if other people did this as well. I'm sure they do and if not...well...my Dad always said I was one of kind.



So here it is, Art vs. Life. I watch a show, go to the movies, read a book, etc...anything that involves art. I tell you what I think and how it is pertaining to my life currently and then you share with me your thoughts and views and hopefully tell me a little bit about how it compares to your life. I hope this will spark many conversations about reality and how we deal with all the good times and of course the bad times that occur in our daily lives. I will do my best not to spoil a movie or a book for you, if it gets too much I will definitely throw up the *SPOILER* flag!!!
